Oxistat Damaged Penis Skin?

I had some irritation on my penis head so I went to a dermatologist and he prescribed Oxistat which is an anti-fungal cream.  After applying, there was a painful sensation and one day later, I found that the area which I applied Oxistat caused the skin to look damaged, very rough and wrinkly.  Is there any way to recover from this damage?  to smooth out the skin?  Any help, advice or suggestions would be so appreciated.  This has been bothering me for the past week.  Thank you very much.
