Oxistat caused loose and wrinkled penis skin

I applied Oxistat, an anti-fungal cream, on my penis head and caused my skin to become loose and wrinkly.
I went back to the dermatologist and he told me Oxistat has dried up my skin so he tells me to apply Vanicream, a moisturizing cream, on there.

However, is Vanicream really going to restore my skin back to the original?  I know our skin can heal by itself but how about in the case where the skin is already loosened by the chemical reaction to Oxistat?  Is it possible for the skin to be tightened again?
