PImmples on leg after boil drained

Ok so i had this boil on my leg about a week and a few days back i treated it and it ruptured as usual now almost a week later and some painful pimples started appearing on the same leg, the boil seems to just be healing still. There are a few in different spots on my leg is this something that needs a doctors attention or should I just keep using castor oil and a hot wash cloth like i would with a boil?

Without examination, confirmation of a diagnosis is tough, but it sounds like folliculitis or boils. Folliculitis is the inflammation of one or more hair follicles.

Please keep the area clean and apply some topical antiseptics. Also wear loose-fitting cotton clothing and use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove. Avoid any kind of cosmetics. Topical antibiotics such as mupirocin or neomycin containing ointment are also useful. In case the symptoms persist then oral antibiotics may be needed. Please consult a dermatologist in that case.
