PLEVA

I have been diagnosed with PLEVA several years ago.  I was put on Methrotrexate which completely controls this skin condition.  However, once you miss taking the medication for a week or two, then you see it re-appear!  First, you start feeling a sting and the next day or so, you will feel the painful bump (round red pimple-like).

First, I wanted to know if this disease is considered one under autoimmune diseases?

Second, is it in any way related to systemic lupus erythematosus?

Thirdly, has anyone out there had this skin condition, PLEVA, and it went away/treated?

Lastly, can one with this skin condition, PLEVA use an infrared sauna?
