I've been taking Isotrentinoin capsules for my acne for about 3 or so months. My skin and lipsChalazion Cleft lip and palate Cleft lip repair - series Clubfoot Coronary risk profile Hdl test Herniated nucleus pulposus High blood cholesterol and triglycerides Ldl test Lipase test Lipocytes (fat cells) are very dry, but that is a known side effect. What I'm concerned about are my fingernails. I have three minor and one rather serious ingrownIngrown toenail fingernails, or at least that's what I think they are. I have drainage from all 4 of them and am experiencing pain from the two that are the most serious. I visited my dermatologist a couple weeks ago and he gave me a Thymol 4% in 99% Ethanol solution to drop onto the affected fingernails. He told me that he wanted to dry the affected areas out to stop the infection. I would like to know if these fingernails are a side effect from the Isotrentinoin, what to do with these affected fingernails, and how to properly care for, clean, and dress them.
Thank you so much for your help
