Painful bumps under skin of foot

hi i have a small white bump that is in the center of my foot about an inch away from my toes and its under the skin and is causing me pain when i walk on it i was just wondering if anyone had any idea what it might be and im 100% sure it is not any kind of insect bite i was just walking and all of a sudden it started hurting then a day or 2 later i noticed the bump and anyway now 8 days later it still hurts and the bump is still there please give me your ideas of what it might be thanks

Hello,
It can be a boil or cyst. Apply cool compresses on the area and take bath with cool(not very cold) water. Do not scrub your skin or shave your skin and use a soft towel and gently pat your skin dry. You can apply antibiotic cream such as Neosporin or Mupirocin also. If symptoms persist then you may need oral antibiotics.
