Painful fingernails with small white bumps

This is an answer to a problem,  as a contribution...

I went to a family doctor.  I had PAINFUL nails... I actually thought I had bitten them during sleep.

He did not have an answer.  He sent me to a specialist.  Results.. negative.  No fungus.

I went through alot of scary moments.  All my nails .. .would they become ALL the same?

It went for about 5 different nails.

I found (1) immediate answer... ANTI-BACTERIAL SOAP... IT WOULD MAKE IT WORSE within 24
hours.

I FOUND A PERMANENT ANSWER BY ACCIDENT.

I was reading a book, " The Natural Physician's Healing Therapies" by Mark Stengler, N.D.
provided by Bottom Line Books.

I came across a curious entry.  Selenium is TOXIC in large doses.  The culprits...

Broccolli,  Onions (which I ate 3 helpings aday..), whole wheat, Brazil nuts ... of the list here,
I enjoy 3 of the listed 4.

Since the earth produces different levels of Selenium in each product,  measuring can be a problem.
So I stopped eating  these items for awhile.

I had actually just eaten a whole wheat (toasted) tortilla, with melted cheese and an extra helping of raw onion.

To summize,  the PAIN STOPPED.  MY NAILS ARE TURNING PINK UNDERNEATH.

I FOUND THE SOLUTION.
