Paxil

I have developed a red rash on both Testicles. I have been on everycream you can name no help. Had a biopsy done i have Dermatitis. I am also dealing with a Prostatitis Flareup. My Question is this i had this last year it went away for 6 months. I think my Dermatologist says the creams & Steroids may be inflaming your Testicles. I am also on Paxil 40Mg a day i have read were some of the symptoms are dry skin, rach & itching could it be the medication. My Dermatologist says no because it is localized if it were the Paxil it would spread all over is this True Desperate I love this Medication it has done wonders for me. I would hate to go off of it. I am also having a patch test done, it gets so dry done their i started to use Vaseline Intensive Care and Mineral oil just today feel a little better. Also I read were this can take a while to heal. P S I wasnt diagnosed with Dermatitis it's CONTACT DERMATITIS It burns down on my Testicles to is this normal for Contact Dermatitis.

Your symptoms are those of dermatitis.  Paxil is not the culprit, as your dermatologist said.  You should treat the dermatitis when needed, according to the doctor's advice.  This condition is annoying but external and not serious.
