Peeling Fingers, now palm of hands

I began experiencing pain in my throat a few weeks ago.  Went to the doctor got tested for strep throat and the tests came back negative.  Doctor had me take Amoxicillin anyway.  Then my lips got really chapped and swollen for 2-3 days..then it went down.  Finally, my finger tips began to peel and now it's spreading to the palms of my hands.  My PCP recommendedthat I use Fluocinonide and it hasn't helped much in the few days that i've used it.  I have never experienced anything like this before and it's scaring me.  Feel like I have a virus.  Any information/insight shared would be greatly appreciated.
