Peeling of hands and feet

About 3 weeks ago I had the palms of my hands and the bottoms of my feet to turn bright red.  They felt as if they were burned.  I couldn't even stand warm water on them.  To walk was painful.  The redness and burning stopped after about 8 days.  Now I am having issues with the skin peeling horribly where the redness was.  It is not a little bit of peeling,  we are talking thick peeling over the entire palm and soles of my hands and feet.  Please help me, I have no idea what this is or how to fix the problem.

I suggest you seek immediate consult at the ER. I do not want to make you feel more anxious but this may be due to an infection or a delayed allergic reaction. Have you been taking any medications lately? Any fpalpitations,ever, rash or redness in some parts of the body?Other differentials may be xerotic dermatitis, eczematous diseases, psoriasis but at this point we can not really tell.

Do get that consult. Keep us posted regarding physicians advice.
