Peeling skin on toddlers fingers and toes

by pwdmama, Jul 22, 2009 10:57AM
I am in Brazil visiting inlaws and can´t go to my normal doctors, my 21-month-old daughter´s skin on her fingers started peeling last week and then it moved to her toes, her fingers have stopped peeling but it is getting worse on her toes.  It does not look like dry skin it looks like blisters then peeling, it is worse after a bath, it is not on the soles of her feet and she has not had a fever or rash.  I have tried an antifungal cream and it has not seemed to help.  She did have strep throat about three weeks ago.  I don´t know what else to try, any suggestions?
