Pegnancy After Accutane

I'm pregnant, however I only finished taking accutane September 26th. I am fairly certain the baby was conceived the 20th of October meaning I was only off the drug 24 days. Am I at risk of the baby being deformed? My doctor had recommended wait 1 month. I am so worried as to what to do.

Accutane has serious effects on pregnancy and severe birth defects will result if pregnancy occurs while taking Accutane in any amount, even for short periods of time. A woman has taken Accutane should not get pregnant until one month after stopping the medication. After that time, it's safe to become pregnant. since it was 24 days in your case, I suggest you an immediate gynecologist’s evaluation and transvaginal ultrasounds and other investigations done to rule out any birth defects.
