Pemphigus Vulgaris

My Mother is suffering from blisters in her mouth and other body parts. Doctors diagnosed this as disease called pemphigus vulgaris and started medicines (Steroids) but not much relief the blisters are appearing here and there and it is repeating also at the same place.  She is diabetic as well.
Today we met with one homeopathy doctor Dr. Parimal Banerjee (A well known doctor based in kolkata) He has given her homeopathy medicine for this disease but asked to stop the allopathy medicine which she is taking at regularly.

I am afraid and don't know the consequence of doing so. I request anybody who has any idea of this please share with me.
