Penile Itch

Hello, I have a problem with the skin on my penis, it has this dry, shiny look and under the head going around my penis itches and its been going on for a month though 2weeks within the month i used a cream prescribed by my doctor called Candid-B and 5 days has passed since the 2 weeks has ended and the itching continues and i read online that Candid-B has itching as one of its side effects (which i kinda really dont get) but i dont know how long the side effects would last for if im having them cause the itch feels the same as when it started. And i should mention the Shiney dryness on the skin of my penis didnt start until recently, thats as best as i can describe it. It doesnt really strip or anything. So do u have any idea of what this might be. Oh and also this start until the day after i had sex. I dont think its an std because im not having any penile pain, discharge or anything like that and niether is my girlfriend, it just itches and im the only one with the itch she is fine. So if u can help me it would really be appreciated.

This rash can be due to dermatitis skin. You should use mild soaps and apply some calamine lotion on the rash. If it itches then you can take some antihistaminic like Benadryl or Claritin. If the rash spreads then get it evaluated from a dermatologist.
