Warts look different on every person due to differences in skin pigments and textures. You should wait to have sex until you haven't had an outbreak for awhile and tell your fiance that you have HPV if she doesn't know yet.An HPV vaccine exists and you both should get it,
Thank you for your comments but I still have questions. My fianace is very much aware of my infection. But is this like the flu? Once you beat the virus you no longer can pass it on? If that's the case, we have no worries. Or should she get the vaccine?
If there have been no outbreaks for a year, is that 'long' enough to not worry about it anymore? And since I can't figure out which HPV strain I have because I can't match what I had to any pictures online, how do I no the vaccine will work at all? Is there a comprehensive list of pictures online by strain so I can attempt to identify it?
And how do I tell the difference between skin pigmant change, liver spots, and flat warts?
Once you beat it you can no longer pass it on.You most likely have waited long enough after a year.I don't think any pictures exist to match your strain to.The vaccine would only work on the 4 strains it prevents and it sounds to me like you probably no longer need to worry because it is probably out of your system.
