Penis glans skin issue

I am 25 right now. A while back (about 6 or so years ago) I was masturbating  with my boxers still on. After I ejaculated I fell asleep. During this time the semen had made my boxers stuck to my penis head. When  I woke up and went to the washroom, I pulled down my boxers not realizing this, and it ripped the boxer from my penis (painfully).

Since then I have had this mark either side of the opening of my penis where the boxer was stuck to it and ripped off. It hasn’t gotten worse the past 6 years, but the red parts have always been a little bit more sensitive than the rest of the penis head.

It doesn’t actually look like skin is missing, but more like a small (1cm) red patch. When I am fully erect, it looks much less visible, but when I am flaccid it is apparent.

I was wondering if there is a way to make it go away, or less noticeable? Perhaps a cream or a home solution?

Thanks

and one more concern I have, at the same time as this I was masturbating with Vaseline and baby oil. This lasted for about 6 months or so.

After that time, I noticed my penis head skin was red and irritated, and I stopped using both those products. The rim of the head, and the very top of the head (around the top rim) got the most irritated (due to them being under most stress), and it developed minor scars.

The past 8 years or so, my penis head has been more sensitive, which I know is because of the damage done then. I was wondering if the damage is done, or if this situation poses a certain risk in the future for other problems? I guess I want to know if its just cosmetic, or if it is chronic inflammation? I have no problems urinating or ejaculating the past 8 or so years, so it seems to be just remains from heavy irritation.

thanks again

ok thank you (both of you),

just another follow up question, i have read about post inflammatory dermatitis, and it says it can be a slow process to get it healed, even with treatment

i was just wondering if, besides cosmetic appearance, it has any other dangers that it can cause?

perhaps i am misinformed, but i read somewhere that anything inflamed is more prone to cancer. Is this true? .. does that certain risk lie here if treatment is unresponsive in any way?

thanks again

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It looks like dermatitis skin or post inflammatory dermatitis. I suggest you to consult a dermatologist before going in for any topical treatment because the skin of penis is very sensitive and delicate and may show contact dermatitis.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

You may be able to try mederma's scar cream if it's a scar.  Or try some lotion when you get out of the shower if it being dry makes it worse.
