Penis problems

by Zelenog, Nov 24, 2003 12:00AM
Hi.Plz help me with the following 3 questions. They are all related to penis.

#1. I got circumsized when I was 20, exactly a year ago. There are bumps inside my skin where the stitches were( on the penis). They didn't reduce and didn't dissapear. One doctor told me that he would apply topical steroid cream. What is your opinion, what you reccommend? I need exact names of the products that could work.I also need something that wouldn't do any damage to skin, like skin thinning or burning. This is very important! This is very important organ.

#2 I have white bumps on penis head that are sensitive. I was told by dermatologists and urologists that it is normal and will go on its own in my 20's.Well, I don't want to wait. They are there and I want to get rid of them now! My girlfriends become too suspecious. One dermatologist prescribed me Cloderm Cream. It did work, but he forgot to mention it coud thin and burn skin. I burned it very bad. Very mad at him! Plz I need some remedy that would be effective and harmless.

#3When I got circumcised, my frenulum was not completely cut because it gives some extra sensation during intercourse.Anyway, after being cut, it(frenulum) became very hard and bumpy. The doctor who performed surgery on me told me to apply Vitamin E oil to frenulum to reduce it. Again, it did work and the frenulum was reduced, but not completely! It is still bumpy and hard and no matter how much I applied Vitamin E oil it didn't reduce any further at all. What do I do? What remedy would you reccomend?

Adult circumcision sucks! I wish I never done it. Now as a result I have so many problems and spending so much money trying to improve things. Plz help me with my 3 problems, doctor. As I mentioned before I need something effective and safe. I would appreciate if you would give me several names of remedies that might work, not just one. Thank you SO much in advance, doctor!

From your description, it is not at all clear that there is anything wrong with your penis.  These are post-surgical changes that don't mean a thing.  I do not believe there is any way, much less any reason, to "fix" them.

Your girlfriends will need to take you at your word and as you are.  (The same is true for men who have had no surgery and just have the various bumps and cysts so many people write to me about.)

Cloderm is a mild steroid.  I have never seen it thin the skin.

My advice to you is to consult a urologist and confirm that these changes are either post-surgical changes or normal variants, and that there is no way to surgically alter them, as I suspect there aren't.  Creams and other topical treatments don't change appearances like the ones you describe.  You are, I think, going to need to accept yourself as you are.

Best.

Anyone who reads this,
I'm not sure if anyone will read this or not but I also have ben having penis problems.About 3-4 months ago I noticed a black bump on the right side of my penis. At first, I thought nothing of it until a few weeks ago.I stopped masterbating (masturbating) for 3 days and it went away. After that I masterbated and the next day two appeared.I know it's not an STD of any sort because I'm still a virgin.I talked to a few people and none of them knew what it was. Some said a fungus, some said a skin disease, and then I talked to my grandpaw and he told me it was something called an infected hair and use neosporin on it.I have ben using neosporin on it and it's ben going away, I just wanted to know if anyone else knew what it was and if he was right? Another concern of mine is a white line on the tip of my penis. It's sorta like a small line but kinda bumpy, hard to explain.Does anyone know what this may be?
