Persistant poision ivy

I just finished a 12 day taper of prednisone and my poison ivy has started to come back. It doesn't look as bad as before but I think it's getting worse. Is more prednisone the answer or can I try to ride it out?

i had the worst case of poision ivy it was horribal,irritating,itching i had to go to er 3 times in one week,it sucked i had 3 shots of steriods the first 2 didnt do much but the 3rd time i had a stronge dose of steriods plus the right dossage finally plus itching pills plus ointment.becareful it can and will come back to haunt you,it took at least 4to6 wks to finally go away also er gave me antiobiotics, god  i hope i  or any one eles ever experiences it ever, its horrible                                                                tracye k.
