Pigmentation issues

I am a 17-year-old girl who has been suffering from pigmentation issues since I was 13. My skin scars VERY easily and I'm left with large, faint, brown patches of pigmentation that make my skin very blotchy-looking. They come from irritated dry spots. I don't have a severe problem with acne but I get pimples now and then.

I have pigmentation that has been there for almost 3 years, quite faint and persistent. I'm desperate. Why do I have such persistent pigmentation issues at a young age? Do I have some sort of nutritional deficiency? It takes a VERY long time to away. What's strange is that these dry spots leave pigmentation marks AS WELL as boxcar scars.. which leads me to the conclusion that my pigmentation issues are very deep. Scars like boxcar scars usually come from acne. Please help me!

Hey Before you go and get any lasers or chemical treatments I recommend that u look into this wonderful site www.earthclinic.com/CURES/melasma3
I have suffered from melasma which is a form of pigmentation for about 10years now and has got worse in the last year. I felt very self conscious about it and have tired many creams and lasers and nothing has worked for me. I stumble across that site and found out it is an internal issue. The site discusses people stories dealing with melasma and the natural remedies that was successful for them and things that werent. It also gives an understaning why it occurs. I have started my supplement plan and already two weeks its started to clear up. I'm so thrilled. If you want to know more u can email  me. ***@****

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Without examination, confirmation of a diagnosis is tough, but it can be due to hyperpigmentation of the skin. This darkening occurs when an excess of melanin, the brown pigment that produces normal skin color, forms deposits in the skin.

Treatment involves hydroquinone, azelaic acid, corticosteroids, tretinoin cream and laser treatment. Please discuss these options with your dermatologist before using them.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
