Pilonidal Cyst
I have a cyst partially on the inside of my butt crack and part on the outside.
It is painful. I have been using Vaseline (stops rubbing), Epson salt,witch hazel,
Soda,and ichthammol ointment. It is still there and it has been over 2 weeks. Sometimes more painful than others. What can I buy over the counter. I have tried also ladocaine 5% but not helping. I tried numbing so I can cut the cheesy pulse out of the cyst. It is growing against end of the but crack. I have cut on it and the inside is hard so I need a better numbing cream for while I am doing it and after.
I am also looking for the root cause in the problem see attachment.
At this time am not looking to have the whole sack removed just to release imflammation from cyst and preventative from it from reoccuring.

OK, I got a bad pyl. cyst last Nov 2013. I got rid of it but unconventionally. I have invasive candidiasis which causes itching in literally any orophus in my body with inflammation and skin breakdown, its hell. Have not completely killed it but usually chase its attacks off after a few days when it goes on a suicide mission against my skin. In other words it does not stop even when it is dying/losing. It recently tried to invade my buttocks again and again I am chasing it back, and am almost done. I would be happy to share my method with you but it is different and one part hurts somewhat although tolerable. I continue to seek full cure. One thing that will help with symptoms is benedryl, it stops candida from easily degranulating mast cells which do a lot of the work for it. Non drowsy type also work. The method is not hard but requires some explanation.

Small vessel disease, which is also called coronary microvascular disease, is a disease that affects the small arteries in the heart. Cryotheraphy is the most common treatment among pediatrics. the warts are made to freeze with nitrogen in liquid form. the use of cantharidin is painless but ends up in blisters. the bad thing about these warts is that they may not come off in a single sitting and also cause blisters. The sebacious cyst. as it is defined in Wiki, is made of a hair shaft with two inlarged sebacious sacs on either side. The sacs' normal purpose is to fill with melted fat (oil) and deliver it to the skin around the hair on the surface of our skin to keep it lubricated.
fat layer is where the oil comes from and it is normally kept in liquid form in that thin layer by body heat. When you have too much fat in that area, only the bottom of the fat layer gets melted by body heat and forms oil. The top layer, however does not melt and forms a thick hard layer of fat that moves around. If the hard fat layer moves and covers a hair folicle or surrounds it, the folicle inlarges and absorbs the hard fat and starts to fill beyond capacity, making the sebacious cyst, which by all accounts is just a huge blocked pore or pimple on a larger scale.

When I first started to deal with this situation I tried orajel which releaves for about a few minutes and that was not working then I sprayed some chloroseptic and that numbed it longer until I was able to rest. Then from there I put apple cider vinger and I have added some hydrogen peroxide and epson alcohol . First I heated water then added epson salt tomake it dissolve better then put it in mixture after it cooled. Abot 1/2 cup of water to the same of epson salt to make it more effective as a muscle relaxant. First I put vaseline on spot and dab a little at a time on area. I have also dissolved aspirin and acetaminophen 500 mg with Diphenhydramine 25 mg. All gotten a Family Dollar Store. Now since heat works the best for flare ups I put vaseline on spot and dap a little Muscle Rub 10% menthol 15% methyl salicylate (Family Dollar Ben Gay) it will medicate the area and feel the heating up of the area and then it will stop and the pain of flare up will go away for a while.
I would like to thank you. I went to the local family dollar store and they had it. I then went to the 99 cents store and they had it only without the pain extra for a dollar and I also got Clotrimazole. When I was at the Family Dollar I checked and they had Miconazole (Monistat) I got it for $7.50.

o There are multiple home remedies for treating the various manifestations of candidiasis. For yeast infections, there are several over-the-counter drugs such as Butoconazole (Femstat), Miconazole (Monistat), Tioconazole (Vagistat), and Clotrimazole (Femizole-7, Gyne-Lotrimin). Treatment with these products should clear up symptoms in about a week.
Nystatin is an antifungal agent for mouth thrush and is typically the only medication used when children are diagnosed. Adults also have pills like fluconazole (Diflucan) and anti fungal throat lozenges called troches. Using this medication, the thrush should clear up in about 1 to 2 weeks.
Skin and diaper rashes are treated with Clotrimazole lotions and creams and also clear up in 1 to 2 weeks with treatment. More serious infections that have spread throughout the body require prescription strength amphotericin B. This medication includes antifungals that attach to the cell wall building material of the yeasts, creating holes that allow the yeast to drain and die. This strong IV treatment is known to have many side effects, and as a result, the medication is administered slowly and it may take longer than two weeks to eradicate the candidiasis.

Testing Candida Albicans

If you doctor suspects that you may have Candida, he/she would ask for a Candida saliva or candida spit test. With this test, you are asked to place a glass filled clear water by your bed at night. When you wake in the morning, work up a bit of saliva and spit into it, then check the water every 15 minutes or so for up to one hour.
a) If you have Candida, you will see strings traveling down into the water with the saliva floating on the top, or cloudy saliva sinks to the bottom of the glass, or cloudy specks is suspended in the water.

When there is excess yeast in the body, there is also excess unfriendly bacteria, fungus, toxins etc. All of this bogs down the immune system function. When you specifically cleanse the body of toxins and yeast, and take strong prebiotic/probiotics (Syntol) at the same time, the immune system speeds up its activity and gobbles up the excess yeast, and other toxins at a faster pace.
Already the cyst has started to shrink but just when Ithink Iamfinished with the pain I get a flare up sometimes really painful.

o There are multiple home remedies for treating the various manifestations of candidiasis. For yeast infections, there are several over-the-counter drugs such as Butoconazole (Femstat), Miconazole (Monistat), Tioconazole (Vagistat), and Clotrimazole (Femizole-7, Gyne-Lotrimin). Treatment with these products should clear up symptoms in about a week.
Nystatin is an antifungal agent for mouth thrush and is typically the only medication used when children are diagnosed. Adults also have pills like fluconazole (Diflucan) and anti fungal throat lozenges called troches. Using this medication, the thrush should clear up in about 1 to 2 weeks.
Skin and diaper rashes are treated with Clotrimazole lotions and creams and also clear up in 1 to 2 weeks with treatment. More serious infections that have spread throughout the body require prescription strength amphotericin B. This medication includes antifungals that attach to the cell wall building material of the yeasts, creating holes that allow the yeast to drain and die. This strong IV treatment is known to have many side effects, and as a result, the medication is administered slowly and it may take longer than two weeks to eradicate the candidiasis.

I can help you. It is something you were born with believe it or not. I used triple A antibiotic ointment twice a day. It will not go away. Eventually you will have to have surgery. It is common in people of Irish descent. You can have a doc open it up and give you shots of Rocephin for a week, but right now try the ointment on top of the area. Do not put anything else on it. Sit in a hot tub of water several times a day. I know you are uncomfortable. Between the ointment and the hot water you will feel better in a few days. Keep me posted.
