Pimple or Scar on Nose

I had a pimple on the tip of my nose when I was 18 years old. I am 26 years old and this raised red dot is still on my nose. It does not look like a typical pimple with the white puss spot on top it's just a raised red dot. I tried a topical cream that a doctor prescribed for me and it did not work. Is there anything else I can use or is laser treatment the only option?

From the symptoms it looks like a cyst or a small benign skin growth. The other possibilities are of actinic keratosis, fibrous papule of the nose or a skin malignancy. I suggest you to get an evaluation done from a dermatologist to confirm the diagnosis.
