Pimples

by AntBanks, Mar 04, 2003 12:00AM
I am A 22 yr old male, about a year and a half ago i lost my virginty to a virgin after we were married. we wouldnt always use condoms, one time she had told me that she was ending her period and wanted to have sex, it turned out it wasnt gone because when i pulled out i had all kinds of blood all over my penis, i thought nothing of it and showered it off, about a few days later i ended up getting a NGU infection which i had treated and then a day after that i ended up getting 3 pimples on the underside of my penis shaft with a crusty tip, it didnt hurt, burst into fluids or anything, but hours after the pimples grew we went my family doctor instead of a derm. which my grandmother said was a mistake because they dont usually deal with the penis, but he was the only one who would see me hours after this occured, he looked at it and said it looks like it could be herpes, i knew it couldnt be that, but it still left questions in my head, he couldnt culture it because there was no fluids or anything to culture, so he sent blood work for type 1 and 2, i tested negative for both, i even went back 1 year later for tests again because i read if tested too soon it can be false negative and again i tested negative for type 1 and 2, and the bumps never came back, but i was wondering during the waiting time of the test the pimples went away and i never really knew what caused it, so i was wondering what caused it, was it a reaction to my wifes Period blood?? and or a infection of some other sought, and if so, do i still have it , or was it a yeast infection, wateva caused it, never got treated, and never came back and its been 2 years, so i was just wondering do i need to get treated ot being as thought the pimples went away i dont have to worry any more

Thank you

What you describe just sounds like pimples, rather than herpes or any other infection.  I can't think of any connection with your wife's period either.  Pimples come on the penis for no special reason, so unless there's still something there, or something comes back, I wouldn't do anything at all.

Best.
