Pink, leathery scrotum with red splotches?

I am 15 years old. Just today I found that my scrotum was very dry, pink and burned a little when I touched it. It seems like a typical rash, but there are weird red splotches that look like scabs or caked-on blood. also, my scrotum is very dry. i woke up to my scrotum burning very badly yesterday but it went down and i forgot about it, but today i was freaked out when i looked.   Should i see a doctor?

From the symptoms it looks like dermatitis or eczema. You can take antihistaminics like Benadryl and Claritin. Topical low potency corticosteroids and calamine lotion are also helpful in relieving the symptoms. More severe cases require oral corticosteroids. For that you need to consult your dermatologist.
