Pink mark that flushes red

Pink mark that flushes red

Basically, a few years ago i had a small mole on my face. I picked it off, and it came back with a raised pink bump.

Now this bump was pink, but whenever i got hot eg (exercise, eat hot food, shower, went from cold to hot) it flushed bright red.

You would then have to either wait for it to fade back to pink, or drink water / splash your face. This stayed like it for 3 years, and last year i decided to try and remove it with this mole remover i got online.

So 3 attempts with that and it kept coming back. But on the 3rd time it came back a permanent red colour. So 6 months later, it had faded a bit, but not much, so i decided to look into laser surgery.

I had a session of ipl treatment, and it blistered / scabbed over, and then after 2 weeks of healing it was gone. But then a week after that the colour began to come back. So the session of ipl treatment had removed the raised element of it, but the colour had come back, but lighter (pink). It was still flushing red in showers etc.

So i went back for a second ipl treatment, and this time it healed much faster. The colour has faded a tiny bit, but i don't know what to do now.

Im left with a slightly indented mark (5p size) on my face, thats pink, and when you stretch the skin the colour disappears (probably because of the blood flow). But it still goes red when i get hot, thats why i use a concealer over it. When i wake up it seems really flat like skin level, but towards the end of the day it slightly indents (don't know why this is).

Has anyone got any suggestions on what i should do?

Hello,
Unfortunately you have got depigmentation and sunken scars aftercontinuous picking up, application of mole removal cream and laser treatment. There is no topical treatment for this and I would suggest collagen or hyaluronic filling or laser resurfacing. Please discuss these treatment options with your cosmetologist.
Hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing. Warm regards.

Thanks for your reply.

Since I last posted in October, I have been using aloe vera cream on it every day before I put the concealer over it. And I have to say its got lighter and theres hardly any indent now.

But it still flushes red in the shower. What do you think of NUR76 cream?

Would It be best to take a picture?

Hello,
Nur 76 contains all natural and herbal ingredients and unfortunately I don’t have any idea about its efficacy. But it is not FDA approved and nothing can be stated for its side effects. If you have to use it, please make it sure to bring it to your dermatologist’s knowledge. Hope it helps. Take care and regards.
