Pink spot above lip

When I get out of the shower, I see a pink spot on the skin just above my upper lip, touching the lip line. It's approx. 2 cm long by 1/4th cm high.  The skin there looks slightly different but I'm 62 and have had age spots burned off in my hairline, etc.  I made the mistake of looking up bcc upper lip and am terrified.

I am female, never smoked, don't drink and have never had a cold sore or tested positive for HPV.  I do not sunbathe but grew up in the south.

There is no lump, bump, oozing, crusting, etc. but it does look 'dry' or maybe rough.

I saw the dentist and oral surgeon for a different type procedure in the last 10 days.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It can be due to dermatitis skin. Keep the area clean and apply some topical antiseptics. Also use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove. Avoid any kind of cosmetics. If the symptoms persist then get it checked from a dermatologist.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Never mind........   Saw my dermatopathologist and he was able to see the pink, dry and burning spot but it did not look like anything.  He froze it off for me since I've had a number of AK's already.
