of pink or red oval rash. The rash may be accompanied by low-grade headache, fever, nausea and fatigue and itching. Topical and oral steroids are needed. Water, sweat, and soap may cause irritation and should be avoided in the disease. Topical zinc oxide and calamine lotion are useful for pruritus.
The vaginal itching and sore are independent of it and can be due to some other skin condition for which you need to get it examined from a dermatologist.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
I am going through the same thing. I was diagnosed with PR, and I got my period. As the rash spread on my body, it spread down there also. It itches, too like the rest of my body. I feel like my pads are drying it out even worse or something....... IDK It's a really big coincidence if you don't get PR down there.
The exact same thing happened to me!
I'm not sure if it's normal or not but before pityriasis rosea I had never had a problem like that down there. It was itchy and burned when I went to the loo.. But I haven't had a problem like that since it went away. (Just a little itchy still but I think that's because I have a scar there.) If you ever get back on the site would you send me an inbox message?? I just want to chat with someone who has gone through this too since the likelihood of me actually meeting someone else with PR is extremely low. Supposedly, only 1/1000 people get PR. Hope you're doing okay now. Please message back lol! Thanks!
