Plantar Warts

Can a Plantar Wart be spread to someone, causing them to have either a wart on their face or body? Or are Plantar Warts spread as Plantar Warts? (If one touches the surface of an object that a plantar wart has touched, can one contract a wart on their face? or is it only possible to contract a plantar wart?)

Hello,
Warts are tumours or growths of the skin caused by infection with Human Papillomavirus (HPV).They are contagious when in contact with the skin of an infected person. HPV being a virus is very short lived when outside the body, so it is less likely to be spread by touching the objects that have been touched by the wart.

I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
