Plantar wart transmission

I have a plantar wart on my foot. Yesterday, I planed it with a razor, which I later used on my genital area after rinsing it with alcohol and soapy water.  My question is, could the plantar wart spread to my genital area through the razor?

Thank you

Hello,
The strain of virus causing plantar warts is different from the ones causing genital warts but the chances of transmission of HPV from foot to the skin of genitalia are always there although less than 1% chances are there.
I hope it helps. Take care and regards.

While it is not impossible, not likely so. The subtypes of HPV virus have their own preferred sites. The genital subtypes causing condylomata is different from the common plantar wart type.
