Please Help!!! Pigmentation is pubic area

Hello, im 15. Ever since I was 12-13 when I began to grow pubic hair I noticed that patches in and around my pubic/abdominal area had patches of grey hair growing and under those patches were abnormally white skin tones and pinkness.

I am funny European, and have no other allergies. But it is realling getting me worried that the rash/pigmentation might be spreading. There is currently a patch of grey hair growing arounf the base of my penis, and small patch in the middle area of my pubic hair. Just at the top of my pubic hair about 5cm below my belly button there is a 4-5 cm patch of pigmented skin. It is really white and around the centre is pink with small grey hair sprouting.

This really gets me emotionally. It dosent look right having grey hair down there,


I now ask,

is this a disease I have,

will it spread (it hasnt, as far as I know)

is there a cure?

One possibility for your symptoms is vitiligo. It is a pigmentation disorder in which melanocytes (the cells that make pigment) in the skin are destroyed. As a result, white patches appear on the skin in different parts of the body. Diagnosis can be confirmed by external examination, blood tests to check skin cell count  for melanocytes and biopsy of the skin patches.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.
