Please help- Rosacea or Seb Derm

31 yr old south asian male suffering from these conditions for quiet a few yrs and its very frustrating.  In addition, my dermatologist hasn't been success in resolving these issue for me.  

Current condition:  red patches on nose and corner of nose; yellow flakes and addition redness at the corners of my nose.  I notice the flakes and the addition redness after taking a shower (using lukewarm water and washing face with Dove unscented or sometimes just water).  

Current Medication:  using Metrogel on the nose and Xolegel (for the flakeness and redness on corner of my nose) & Nicomide.

I don't think this combo is working at all for me- esp. the Xolegel.  Very discomforting and doesn't remove or reduce the flakes.  Also,  I'm not sure if Metrogel is working effectively.  Honestly, I feel like the medications have made my conditions a lot worse.

Any advise would be much appreciated..  Sorry if I sound frustrated or discouraged.
