Please help-I'm loosing my skin

Over the last 7 years - I have been slowly loosing my pigmintation.  I am a white female in my early 50's.  I have had 3 seperate tests done where skin was removed for testing and both vitaligo and rosatia have been ruled out.

The areas of loss are on my face, hands, and now arms and....there too.  My normal skin on my face is around my eyes and corners of my mouth making it look like I have brused eyes.  Often people comment on my skin.

The area where it is light burns if I use most soaps, lotions, creams, etc.  Recently I used a sunscreen and my skin felt like it was on fire and I had to quickly wash it off.  It burned slightly for the rest of the day.

I saw 3 different dermatologists, each claiming they had no idea - they did blood tests and removed areas where there was no pigmentation and could not diagnose.

The areas are light and sometimes turn a bright shade of red and then go back to white - in the winter - people think I have been skiing and got sunburned when it is just my skin changing color.

I keep thinking this is some sort of infection on the inside - but, there hasn't been any diagnosis.

Clues???

Thank you - Carol

Post inflamatory hypopigmentation as it seems from your history, might be related to a photosensitivity.Antioxidants would be of great help for you.
