I had gone to palm springs california and what not, (did not wear any sun protection lotions) and a while after I started noticing spots on my left hand mostly on the fingers and a mark on my right index finger that goes from my knuckle to the middle of my finger. If anyone could please take a look at the images linked and please tell me if this is something serious i should worry about or only skin damage caused by too much unprotected sunlight.

Hi,
THis could be a sunburn or an allergic rash caused by the sunlight.A sunburn is a burn to living tissue such as skin produced by overexposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation, commonly from the sun's rays.

Minor sunburns typically cause nothing more than slight redness and tenderness to the affected areas. Given a few weeks, they will heal.

The skin can be hydrated by applying topical products containing Aloe vera and/or vitamin E, which reduce inflammation. Hydrocortisone cream may also help reduce inflammation and itching.
If there is pain you could take NSAID's for it.
