Please list your sugestions

For almost a week i have had a bump in my underarm area. At first i thought it was from my underwire cutting into me. I stopped wearing the bra once it appeared but the bump still got bigger. By the second day a red rash has come in and the bump has turned a red and purple color. It is not spreading anywhere but the rash is getting a little bigger. the pain on a scale of 1-10 is most definatly an eight or nine.

From the symptoms it sounds like a boil. Boils are caused by infection of the hair follicle by staph aureus. Apply warm compresses on the bumps and keep the area clean.Drainage of the bump is done only when it becomes soft and forms a head.Take some over the counter pain reliever and consult a doctor for examination and antibiotics prescription.In the meanwhile apply some topical antibiotic like Mupirocin or Neosporin on the bump.
