Posisble genital warts?

by idontlikethis, Feb 09, 2007 12:00AM
Im a 22yr old circumsized male. Lately i have been concerned with a few small bumps on the underside of my penis about 1/2 cm below the tip. I'm not sure how long ive had them There are 2 on each side of the underside of penis, about 1-2mm big, about a 3-4 mm apart from each other. They aren't really hard, and are sort of fleshy. I have psoriasis, and have gotten some plaque in this area before due to irritation. Dipropionate ointment takes care of it though. These bumps are not thatvisible and are more skin colored when not erect, but when i'm erect they become red and more visible. When i stretch the skin the red fades to whitish. They are not cauliflower like. When im not erect, they basically dissapear on one side, and are less visible on the other side.  I am not really sexually permiscuous and always wear a condom unless with a girlfriend who has been tested thoroughly.

I went to the dermatologist and she said she really doesn't think i had anyhting to worry about and that they didn't look like warts at all. Although, she did say there is no way to tell 100% because warts can often be very small and microscopic. I could tell for sure if i had a biopsy, but that she really didn't think i needed it. She said she thought sexual contact was fine and to come back in 6 weeks if they got "impressive."

Could these be penile papules? (haven't had them my whole life)
Could they be warts or some other STD?
What about blocked pores?
I don't see any hair follicles by them either.

What can I try out to test any of these theories?

I agree with your dermatologist.  I can't say more without seeing them, of course, but your description and their location sound like normal penile anatomy.  I'd ignore them, and show them to the doctor again only if they change.

Best.

Oh, also to add. They aren't painful and there are no other symptoms. The area seems a little raw, but that may be due to my imagination and ferocity of constant examination

Ok so basically im worried out of mind. I have these little tiny pimple-like bumps on the lower part of the shaft of my penis. I never thought much of them adn i always told my self they were natural and would go away, they never did. So i got 4 unusually big bumps one day and i decided to pop one, and it was like a pimple pop. All 4 went away but i still have the remaining bumps. I have heard of hair follicliscus (excuse spelling) and it seems to fit me. I am young and have never experienced sexual intercourse but have had hand to penis breifly and the bumps weer there before the incident. Bottom line, can somebody relieve me a little and tell me what i have so i can get on with my life.

Thank You

I have these two bumps on my penis, they are skin color On the bottom side.and i waslooking on the net for pictures of warts and some look like it and some don't. so im worried.  I went to the PA and he said it looks like warts but wasn't sure. I said can you get rid of them and he said we could nitro freeze it off. I said ok. A few weeks later with the scar the two bumps came back. I was very frustrated. could it be due to the freezing that a side effect happen. i haven't had sex for a year.
