Possible Hiv Rash

Hi Dr, within a week of having fairly unprotected high risk sex with someone showed many signs of primary hiv infection/acute retroviral syndrome. Its going into the second week and i still have everything including 3 red bumps on one wrist and one on the other. All this developed in the following week but its going into the second week and i still feel odd. She said she was exposed to chicken pox, but i've already had that. i do have genital herpes however. I guess i have three questions. is it possible to show a rash from primary hiv infection within a week on my wrists? I generally have a back acne problem and sometimes on my chest, what can i do about that? ALso, is it possible to get chicken pox twice, ive noticed a pimple like sore on my chest
thanks

Good Day, about 3 weeks ago I had protected sex with a person who is very likly to have HIV... Exactly three weeks after I did it my body began aching, head hurting, sore throat, or in other words all the symptoms one would expect with the flu... I have rashes between my elbows which simply look like a common heat rash, but as I'm young and am very worried, I wonder if I'm simply working myself into a state. Are these likly signs of HIV and how unlikly is it that I contracted it while wearing protection?

Thanks

I believe the acute rash of HIV is widespread, not just on the wrist, and is associated with fever, malaise, and other internal symptoms.  Your description does not match chickenpox at all.  You can't get chickenpox twice (or at least that would be extremely rare.)  The acne on your back and pimple on the chest should be looked at by a doctor for proper advice.  You might want to be tested for HIV in a few weeks and again in a few months, just for reassurance that your high-risk behavior hasn't left you with anything, and you might want to avoid high risk behavior too....

Best.
