Possible rash?

Recently I have had a itchy, slightly red "rash?" on the foreskin of my penis. It start almost 24 hours after intercourse with my wife. It seems to be on the foreskin, and about 1 inch down the underside of the penis. I have no pain in urinating, nor any discharge. The skin is slightly reddish and there are very tiny bumps, almost unnoticible. I looked at pictures of STD's and none of them seem to fit. My only concern is the wide variety of symptoms associated with STD's such as herpes. Many of the symptoms include bumps or open sores, neither of which I have.
The itching is mild and only occurs when the penis is touched. I thought a yeast infection may be possible; however, my wife says she does not have one. I used a yeast infection topical ointment, to no avail. I am also treating with jock itch spray, but this doesn't seem to work either. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
