Possible sipderbite...?

Possible sipderbite...?

Hello everyone,

I recently developed what appears to be some kind of spider bite on my lower left leg (calf area).  It started out as 4 red bump-like spots almost right in a row before becoming more splotchy and tender here on about the fourth or so day of infection.  Unfortunately we do have occasional brown recluses in our home and we're currently treating flea infestation.  However these particular bumps look different than any flea bite I've ever had so I don't believe that's what it's from.  I'll put a photo of the infected area on here.  There really isn't any kind of throbbing pain involved with it except for it being tender to the touch.  I've been applying Cortizone 10 Plus cream to it and other bites almost on a daily basis even though this particular bite does not really itch.  Also, I cannot seem to find any fang marks around it.  Hopefully some of you could take a look at the photo here and be able to give me a little more information on what it could possibly be.  Thanks in advance.

I noticed where the photo I mentioned in my original post has to be approved before you can view it so I thought I would post some 'copy & paste' links for quicker access.  Also, these bumps first started out red then one developed a white head which after a day or so turned into just a very small red or dark indention.  Anyway, these pictures will illustrate what I'm trying to say much better.  Any input would be appreciated.

(The entire infected area is about equivalent to the size of a quarter.)

Hi,
The bite of a brown recluse spider produces a bull's-eye pattern of red circles accompanied by blistering and swelling. The brown recluse spider's bite is poisonous.
When the spider bites you, you may feel a sharp sting or nothing at all. Pain usually develops within the first several hours after being bitten, and may become severe.

If you experience chills, Itching, general ill-feeling or discomfort, fever or nausea then you should immediately go to a hospital as this would be an emergency.

In your case it could be a spider or any other insect that has caused this rash. Most spider bites are harmless, causing redness and swelling at the site.
For the pain you can take NSAID's. At the site where the marks have turned white you can apply an antibiotic ointment.  You can take anti-hstamines like Cetrizine for the redness and swelling to subside.

To get a better idea of what to do in case you get bitten by a dangerous variety you can check out the site I have quoted as reference.
