Possible std...i hope not

Okay so I've been with my current girlfriend for a little over a year...never have had anything but a pimple down there in my life. About 2 weeks ago I noticed what looked like a pimple just below my beltline mixed in with my pubic hair. I trid popping it but it didn't pop..just hurt as I squeezed it. I left it alone and the next day tried again, this time being successful. It didn't really have much for pus..and a little blood but nothing bad. The bump/pimple was obviously larger from squeezing, and I did some reasearch online that led me to believe it was nothing to worry about and to put some neosporin on it. I did so and it went down..but then another one popped up next to it. The skin around the two is red..but not itchy. I also felt a lump that seemed to be under the skin which caused me considerable pain as I squeezed it. A few days later, I got one on the shaft of my penis, about half way up it. This also took 2 days to be able to pop, and I've been putting neosporin on it. What are these? The one on my penis is not where any hair is growing..but als dint have a lump under the skin that hurt. I've got a few more much smaller pinkish/red bumps around in my pubic hair, but only the one on my penis. If it was herpes, wouldn't the outbreak be worse? And would neosporin make herpes symptoms start to go away? I'm really freaking out about this..my girlfriend said she's never had anything but a few ingrown hairs..

Any and all help will be greatly appreciated..

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
These can be due to irritated hair follicles, boils or last but not the least molluscum or herpes sores. Apply warm compresses, Neosporin ointment and calamine lotion and avoid messing with it. You can take anti-inflammatory pain killers like ibuprofen or acetaminophen. If the lump persists then it will be best to get it evaluated from a dermatologist and get a biopsy skin done to confirm the diagnosis.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Neosporin isn't something that cures STDs but calm down, it may be something as simple as an allergic reaction or folliculitis. Have you been in a hot tub lately, switched detergents, used a new soap? If the problem worsens get to a doctor.
