Thank you very much! I live in europe and therefore can not get a hold of hydroquinone. Do you know about the others? and does laser treatment have any side effects?

I read about it being a vascular pigmentation problem... can this be cured by microdermabrasion?

Thank you for taking the time to write to me.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Acne marks are due to post inflammatory hyperpigmentation. The treatment for post inflammatory hyperpigmentation includes various skin creams like hydroquinone, azelaic acid, corticosteroids, tretinoin cream and laser treatment. If it still persists then you can go in for laser treatment, Chemical peeling or microdermabrasion.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
