Psoriasis of the scalp?

I only have psoriasis on my scalp, is there anything I can use that will help tame it in the changing seasons? I have blonde hair, so the 'tar' shampoos are not an option, they actually color my hair with a green tint. This is something that has been affecting me my entire life and unfortunately it is mainly on my 'hot spots' around the face and nape of the neck. Any suggestions?
