Pubic Hair

Pubic Hair

A few days ago I decided to trim my pubic hair around my penis with scissors from 2 inches (their natural length) to 1 inch. I thought this would be more comfortable for walking but it ended up being the opposite. Now most of my pubic hairs seem to have blunted tips causing itching and even mild pain as they brush against my penis. I figured that this itching also has to do with the fact that the hairs are shorter and thus feel like pine needles. I will never do this again and just want the hairs to return to normal.

I have a few questions...

1) Will the pubic hairs grow back to their original 2 inch length if I leave them alone starting today and never cut them again?
2) Assuming the answer to my first question is "yes," will the blunted tips of the cut pubic hair eventually smooth out to become naturally "pointy"  and thus less irritating again?
3) I use vaseline to ease the itching as much as I can for now, but are there any vitamins or foods that will help pubic hair grow back faster? I take a multivitamin and drink lots of water if that helps.

1. yes.
2. Yes.
3. No there aren't, but there's really no need for that.  The hair will grow out fine.  Best to leave it that way.

Take care.
