Pulley

by Martin Ross, Oct 06, 2005 12:00AM
My question is simple.

Not too long ago I got some of my hair caught in a pulley.

This resulted in a patch of hair that got ripped out by

the roots.  So my question is, should the hair eventually

grow back, or am I going to have a permanent bald spot?

Thank You.

Sincerely,

Martin Ross Worries

Your hair will grow back.  It will take a few months for the root to regenerate and grow to full length.  If we could cause permanent hair loss by pulling, we wouldn't need lasers or electrolysis--waxing would do the trick.  So you should be fine.  I'd steer clear of pulleys, though....

Best.

It will grow back in time.  Depending on your hair's growth cycle depends on how fast it will grow back.  You can visit keratin.net or hairloss-reversible.com for more answers to hairloss and hair growth.
