Question about ear lobe swelling? Never had piercing HELP!

I've had a lump in my ear for a while but it never seemed painful and did not bother me at all. My doctor awhile ago said it was a scar, but it seems to be getting bigger ever since I slept on it last night.. What can I do to reduce the swelling?

I have been taking Augmenten for a throat infection and this has happened before with this antibiotic as well as amoxicillin. I get a small red spot on my wrist about the size of an M&M and one on my right upper thigh about the size of a quarter. They pop up in the same exact place every time I take either of these drugs. Should I be concerned if this is the only reaction I am getting. Could it be doing more harm than good internally.

Hello,
From the symptoms it looks like a cyst. Generally no treatment is required but they become painful then it means they are infected, Then surgical excision by traditional wide excision, minimal excision, and punch biopsy excision may be required. I would then suggest you to consult a dermatologist and get it evaluated.
I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
