RED DOT ON THE END OF MY NOSE

Hi,
I've got a red dot on the end of my nose.
It looks a bit like a wart but it's quite soft.  If you press it in it goes flush to the rest of the skin.  If you squeeze it - it bleeds quite badly.
I've had it for about 5 years - and it's always upset me but now I'm starting to think of ways of getting rid of it.
Does anyone know what it is?  Or how I go about getting rid?
