Raised little clear spots which itch a little bit, on my foot/hand.

Wasn't sure which section to put this in because what I think I have is a fungal AND a bacterial infection at the same time. Not sure if it's viral warts, like, athletes foot plus that, or something. But from pics I've seen of warts it's maybe not the same? The lumps are tiny, and kind of clear in colour but red around the outside, and they only itch sometimes, in a kind of burning way, but I hardly notice them usually. It seems to have spread to my hand now too :( so I'm worried. I've been putting cream for athletes foot on them, but that only seems to have helped the athletes foot part, if I even had that at all in the first place of course. Any idea what this could be?

Loads of pictues of it taken over the last week or so here: http://s46.photobucket.com/albums/f105/Jazz_Wizz/

Probably athlete's foot (fungus), which can produce a blistering eruption on the hands too.  Possibly both hands and feet are eczema.  I suggest you purchase a non-prescription antifungal cream (like 1% clotrimazole) to apply to the feet, and set up an appointment with a doctor as soon as you can.  Rashes like these can be quite debilitating, but are easy to bring under control if treated properly.

Take care.

Hi,

Thanks for the quick reply, but, I've been using such a cream for around two weeks now, and while the fungal feeling aspect of it has gotten better (see the pics), those spots seems to be getting worse, and spreading. Can you see how they seem clear and sometimes red, are you positive athletes foot can do that? :-/

Should I use the cream on the affected area of my fingers too or only on my feet? Look at the pics of my fingers very carefully, to me it doesn't look like any kind of athletes foot but I'm not exactly an expert tbo :-)

ps - I hit the wrong button due to a mouse jerk, meant to click YES not no on the did this help you, sorry, d'oh.

hi, saw the pics and def looks like athletes foot but you know that already, just to let you know that i get it for no appar reason but the only thing that really works for me is the Scholl Athletes Foot SPRAY.  It stings like **** but it starts working immediately.

The itchy bumps/dots on your hands is also something i get sometimes and this appar was ezcema (eczema), Betnovate is the only cream that works for me on with that prob, I think it has to be prescribed tho.

I have a whole new 'drive u insane' itchy type back bump thing going on now that is just cracking me up! It flairs up for no reason and sometimes develops into tiny water filled spots or just an itch in general.  It's so hard to reach on my back (between shoulder blades) that I'm carrying around a fork to scratch it (very attractive eh!)  Anyway, have tried pills for Acne & Ezcema (eczema), allergy testing and the process of elimination starts now while I wait for an app with the Dermatologist.  Oh joy......good luck

That looks similar to the bumps that popped up on the palm of my hand, no on here at the house has athletes foot though so I have no idea where mine came from..I put sulfadene on my hand over the bumps and they seemed to start to dry up so i loofah'd the dry patches and I did this a few days thought it was gone and I see a couple more little dots raised up in that area argh!!! Thought for sure it would be gone by now i'm gonna try the athletes foot creme on it and see if it goes away that way...

Just to update on the situation, looks like I had athletes foot on my foot, which then shocked my immune system into having a bought of eczema, it was not athletes foot on my hands, those little bumpy things, that was eczema! So it was misdiagnosed by the Dr's on this site. Eczema came on my feet, fingers and hands, as a result of the athletes foot making my immune system have some kind of a reaction.

Also I'd like to add I don't think much of the service here, I paid for a question, got one little reply which wasn't really satisfactory and was a bit of a mis-diagnosis, and then none of my questions were answered. I won't be recommending the site to anyone needless to say.

Hi Jason, I just wanted to give you a bit of an fyi: IF by chance you do get athletes foot there's a non-prescription way that's on the gross side (to me anyway) but works SUPER fast. grab a big bowl that you'll throw away, and at least once or twice a day, urinate in the bowl & put your infected foot into it for at least 5 minutes. I know it sounds bizzare, but my boyfriend gets athlete's foot all the time & we were told this by one of his buddies that was on a prescription for over a year. My boyfriend got rid of the athletes foot in about 2-3 weeks. I hope this helps for the future!

thanx for tip, I pee'ed on my foot every time I had a shower, it seemed to help the healing process speed up a lot so for sure that method works :-)

Dude, how was it misdiagnosed with the doc said it was athlete's foot on your foot, and possible eczema on your hand????  He can't do cultures online and based on some pictures he told you what he thought...which was right.
