Im stuck between two things. Everything i read on the interweb says 1. to clean it more, or 2. its an std. I have a red bump about the side of a small pea on the underside of my shaft. Its been there for about two months. When it showered up it was painless until pressurePressure ulcer was applied. I, being the thoughtless person i am, thought it to be a ingrownIngrown toenail hair so i applied pressurePressure ulcer to it and it did nothing. Theres something hard inside if and its right over the vein that runs through the middle of my shaft. A few days ago it seemed to develop a headHead and face reconstruction Head injury Head lice Indications of head injury Radial head injury so i gave it a bit of pressurePressure ulcer and sure enough some puss came out, but then it hurt terrible. I looked at it last night and it had a kind of dip in it where the headHead and face reconstruction Head injury Head lice Indications of head injury Radial head injury of it was kind of like when you try to pop a blackhead and it just sinks deeper into the skin. So when i saw that i applied alot of pressure and all that came out was blood and clear liquid, and now it hurts when it touches any kind of anything. Any help?
Hello,
From the symptoms it sounds like a sebaceous cyst. A sebaceous cyst is a closed sac occurring just under the skin which contains a cheesy looking substance called keratin. Blocked sebaceous glands, swollen hair follicles and excessive testosterone production will cause such cysts.
Generally no treatment is required but they become painful then it means they are infected, then surgical excision by traditional wide excision, minimal excision, and punch biopsy excision may be required. I hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing. Kind regards.
Thank you,
Yesterday i but some neosporin on a bandage and left it on the bump for a few hours and when i got home from work i looked at it and the moment i applied pressure, out came puss and what not. The skins just red and irritated now, but it doesnt hurt to the touch. When i pull the excess skin taught theres a insanely hard center that is most likely this cyst. Thank you for the help would it clear up on its on with over the counter antibiotics i.e. Neosporin/Bacterban and some old school Peroxide?
