Raised red patches of skin rashes

I am 30+. and have not exactly cared for my skin.  When I was  teenager, i saw a dermatologist regularly for the same type rash that I have now. Although nit faded, it hs never totally gone away.  I have had a extreme cse for at lest two years now, but it hs recently become worse.  I have raised red- orangey pataches all over my body.  It does not itch, but is atrocious looking.  I have begun to have unexplained lower abdominal pain.  I have made an appointment to see a dermatologist, but it is not for weeks, yet.  Should I go to a gp or emergency room or just wait for the ppointment?
