Rash all over body except face and arms

I have a 21yr old daughter, she has just developed a rash all over her body and is extremely itchy.  It is not on her face or arms,  just on her stomach and legs.  She has not changed body wash, soap for clothes or drier sheets.  She is currently allergic to cephalexin.  She is on Yasmin Birth Control, Finacea face cream, tretinoin face cream, and Bactrim DS.  SHe has been on these same medicines for at least a year.  Any suggestions?  I told her to stop the Bactrim DS because she could all of the sudden be allergic to it, also told her to use Hydrcortison Cream for  the itch and Benadryl for the rash.    Anything else she should be doing?

Such an itchy rash can be due to contact dermatitis, allergies, sweat dermatitis, hives or specific skin conditions like eczema or pityriasis rosea. For the itching give her some over the counter antihistaminic like Benadryl or Claritin. Also apply calamine lotion and wear cotton clothes. In case the symptoms persist then topical steroids may be needed. Please consult a dermatologist in that case.
