Rash in my groin region

I have a rash in my groin area right around the crease where my thigh meets my pelvis. The rash looks like small red dots not blister or pus filled. They are just very small to medium sized red dots. It occurred a day after I engaged in sexual intercourse. It mainly itches, but I have no idea what it is.
