Rash on Shins

About three weeks ago, I developed a rash on my shins - they are small (no more than a quarter-inch) red spots that are not perfectly round; they are more blotchy.  There are no other symptoms; it doesn't itch, nor is it painful in any way.  I can't seem to find a photo online that matches it.  Any ideas what it might be?

Possibly mild eczema, possibly superficial broken capillaries that appear for no special reason and last for some time (Schamberg's Disease is the official name, if you want to look at pictures.)   Doesn't sound worrisome, but you'll need to see a doctor in person to know for sure.  I suggest you wait 4-6 weeks, though, since the rash may go away by then and you won't have to bother.

Best.
